Wendy Davis has dedicated her life to serving the people of Montgomery County. Born into a military family, Wendy moved to Clarksville in 1979 when her father was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. She has proudly called Clarksville home ever since and has spent more than three decades serving the citizens of the community she loves.

Wendy's passion for the legal system and public service began early in her career while working for a downtown Clarksville law office. In 1996, she joined the Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk's Office as a part-time deputy clerk. Her professionalism, exceptional work ethic, and commitment to serving others quickly earned her a full-time position after just two weeks.

Over the years, Wendy worked in every division of the Circuit Court Clerk's office, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the court system and the important role the Clerk's Office plays in serving the public. In 2001, she was promoted to Accounting Technician, where she helped manage millions of dollars in court transactions while maintaining a flawless audit record. The following year, she was promoted to Chief Deputy Circuit Court Clerk, overseeing daily operations and leading a staff of nearly 60 employees.

After serving 18 years as Chief Deputy, Wendy was elected Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk. She has now proudly served six years as your Circuit Court Clerk, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the Montgomery County court system to the office. Her unmatched knowledge, integrity, and leadership have helped ensure the Clerk's Office continues to serve the public with excellence.

Since Wendy was elected Circuit Court Clerk, the office has continued to earn recognition year after year for its efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Under her leadership, the office has embraced new technology, streamlined processes, and strengthened transparency while maintaining the highest standards of accountability. As Montgomery County continues to grow, Wendy remains focused on modernizing the office and ensuring citizens receive prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
